Pelakon berbakat besar, Sharifah Amani 'menegur' sesetengah penerbit dan pengarah yang mengambil mudah soal pengambilan pelakon untuk sesebuah naskhah.
Ujar Amani, 32, menerusi akaun Twitter miliknya, dia merasa kasihan melihat pelakon sebenar yang sedaya upaya untuk menghidupkan sesebuah babak.
"Tolonglah jangan seksa pelakon tulen kamu dengan meletakkan celeb (selebriti) sebagai sparring partner (gandingan).
"Kesian tengok pelakon itu usaha sedaya upaya untuk hidupkan scene dan chemistry. Si celeb pun main throw je dialogue.
"Takde kongsi rasa apa sikit pun. End up cerita jadi struggle.
"If the characters are suppose to be Chinese why didn’t you just cast Chinese actors?
"Real actors are rare. They don’t sell themselves, they sell their craft. They know fame is not important, being truthful to their work is.
"Itu pasal sekali sekala dapat dia punya puas tu lain macam. Setiap scene jadi mahal pasal dorang tak wujud je. Mereka hidup.
"If u don’t believe the words that are coming out of your mouth, how are u going to convince the audience?
"Once the audience can tell that you’re acting you have failed. It’s not about memorising lines then regurgitating them back out. It’s about living the life of your character," tulisnya yang turut mendapat sokongan ramai pengikut.
